On July 29, volunteers taught a newly designed curriculum at the SMILE Summer Camp focused on green energy. They began by explaining how electricity works and its role in our daily lives. The lesson then introduced renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, emphasizing their importance in protecting the environment. To reinforce the concept, volunteers led a hands-on activity where participants created pinwheels to mimic wind turbines. In addition to teaching the green energy session, volunteers also supported the center staff with the SMILE store and assisted in the Chinese culture class.
