During the month of December, youth volunteers to continue online English tutoring. Tutors Anna Zheng and Jenny Huang  taught engaging and fun classes highlighted daily conversation and vocabulary. Volunteers used resources such as Youtube daily English conversation to make lessons more engaging. These lessons helped students gave them a short story to share with their friends. On Sunday November 16, 2025, Joshua Meng hosted the first volunteer chess over the school year. The students were introduced to basic chess concepts like the knight fork and tactical awareness in a position. They learned that before moving it’s important to think carefully about what your opponent wants to do.
