On June 21, 2025, volunteers joined Pearland Market Days to run a lively booth as part of
its promotion for their community engagement and nonprofit support. Volunteers arrived at
8:30 AM to set up their booth with vibrant posters highlighting our youth-led projects, and
promoting the Light and Salt Association—an organization dedicated to empowering individuals
with special needs. Throughout the day, the volunteers used creative attractions like twisting
balloons, face painting, and the sale of plants and crafts to draw visitors and encourage
donations, effectively building awareness and raising funds to support Light and Salt’s mission.
The event, which ran until 2:00 PM, was seamlessly coordinated by a dedicated team of
volunteers. Their engaging activities—balloon-twisting, face painting, and plant sales—fostered
genuine connection within the community, and left a lasting positive impact on both the
nonprofit and every one involved.
