Youth Entrepreneur: Fundraising at Latin Festival on September 13, 2025

On September 13th, our volunteers hosted a food stand at the Latin Festival in Pearland Town Center to raise funds for the City’s second inclusive park project. We partnered with Chifa Peru, who generously provided traditional Peruvian-Chinese dishes such as ceviche, chifa, and chicha morada. The booth was proudly sponsored by the Light and Salt Association. Volunteers arrived at 9:00 AM to set up, with sales beginning at 11:00 AM. In addition to fundraising, we also promoted the Inclusive Play Project and shared information about the services offered by the Special Needs Caring Center.
