On July 30, volunteers continued leading the dog toy-making project that began the previous week. The pull toys were crafted from recycled t-shirts, reinforcing the lesson on recycling introduced earlier. Through this hands-on activity, participants were reminded of the importance of reusing materials to reduce waste. In addition to the toy-making project, volunteers also assisted center staff with a cookie-baking class and other life skills sessions.
Volunteers:
Lead (7 hrs): Zoey Dou
Assistants (6 hrs): Erica Gao, Yanbin Qu, Yanqing Qu
