SMILE 4 Special Needs (#267): SMILE Pearland #6 on March 22, 2026

SMILE Pearland is a youth-led inclusive program dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs and their families through engaging, skill-building activities in a welcoming and supportive environment. It is part of the Youth SMILE 4 Special Needs initiative, organized by Hummingbird Community Outreach, PROMIS/AYLUS Pearland, and valued community partners.

Our March session began with an interactive discussion about Easter animals such as chicks, lambs, and ducks, encouraging participation and communication. Participants then enjoyed a hands-on craft activity, creating their own Easter baskets, followed by a lively balloon animal art session and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.

These thoughtfully designed activities promote hand-eye coordination, focus, and physical movement while enhancing cognitive development, life skills, and fine motor skills - all within a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
