SMILE 4 Special Needs (#233): Bucket Drumming for All (#34) at GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land on July 17, 2025

On the morning of July 17, volunteers from Pearland led an engaging drumming lesson at GiGi’s Playhouse in Sugar Land.

The session began with a review of basic rhythms, helping participants refresh their memory and build confidence. Afterwards, everyone followed along with upbeat music, clapping and drumming in time with the beat. The activity was lively, interactive, and well-received by all—earning a solid “seven out of ten” for fun and participation.

Through this event, volunteers continued their mission of community engagement and support for individuals with Down syndrome in a joyful and inclusive environment.
