City and Neighborhood support: Volunteers Conduct Street Outreach to Promote the 2026 Pearland LNY Festival on January 4th, 2026

On January 4th 2026, volunteers carried out a community street outreach initiative to promote the upcoming 2026 Pearland Lunar New Year Festival. The volunteers visited local shopping centers and business districts, posting event posters and speaking directly with store owners and employees.

During the outreach, students introduced the significance of the Lunar New Year celebration, shared information about the 2026 festival, and invited businesses to participate or support the event. Many business owners welcomed the students warmly, expressed interest in the festival, and showed appreciation for the volunteers’ enthusiasm and professionalism.
