City and Neighbor Support: City of Pearland Concerts in the Park on May 8, 2026

On Friday, May 8, 2026, volunteers went to Southdown Park, Pearland to help with the City of Pearland, Concerts in the Park. The volunteers arrived early to prepare, organize, as well as learn what they will be doing.

During the event, they managed the information stand, where they gave out the survey, distributed drinks and freebies, and gave out tickets for the raffle. There, they met many different people, to which the volunteers introduced Pearland Parks & Recreation and our volunteer organization. They also went to the stage to present the raffle awards and distribute them.

We supported the community in organizing a community music event, along with Pearland Parks & Recreation.
