City and Neighbor Support: Volunteers Host Webinar for Kindergarten–1st Grade Parents on August 7, 2025

On August 7, our junior members organized an online Zoom webinar led by Christy Zheng and five peers to support new parents preparing for elementary school. Parents actively participated by asking questions in the chat and engaging with the presentation. Throughout the session, volunteers shared their personal experiences, offering valuable insights into what families can expect in elementary school. Speaking on behalf of their schools, the volunteers provided practical, firsthand perspectives to help parents feel more confident about the transition.
