On Sunday, November 2nd, volunteers organized a successful Halloween Candy Drive to collect leftover treats for donation to Mexico. The event brought together enthusiastic volunteers and community members, creating a heartwarming atmosphere of generosity and teamwork.
Volunteers set up a collection station and offered free face painting for children, adding fun and excitement to the event. As the day went on, the response from the community was remarkable—many residents arrived with bags full of candy. By the end of the drive, volunteers collected about 82 pounds of candy and packed approximately 300 bags of treats. The donations will be delivered to a Mexican church, which will transport them to Mexico for distribution.
